Less an hour boat travel from Palaui Island is a cove that hides a breathtaking beauty - they call it Anguib Cove. Anguib has a long-curvy-stretch of fine white sand landscaped with greens on the side. The sand has a mixture of colorful shells, pebbles in different shapes and living crustaceans running back and forth. From the quiant cottages by the beach, the crystal clear water and emerald seas are visible separated by the horizon from the blue sky. Its preserved tranquility can definitely make your day a lazy day.

The road is on a mountainous area of Burgos, Ilocos Norte, so we were able to see the shapes and curves of the mountains. Goats, cows and horses can be found along the road or even in the middle of the road, so the driver must be aware of it.
After getting off the van, the sea breeze was cold and fresh. The sound of the waves hitting the boulders, by the shore were strong. The waves in this area are like the waves in aurora, perfect for surfing. We walked on a cemented pathway then passed through an arch made up of the live branches of the plants on each side of the pathway. There are comfort rooms and trash bins in some areas. Horse back riding is also one of the must try.
Pinsal Falls
After getting off the bed, took a bath and then the delicious breakfast, time for an escapade with nature. But before going to this gorgeous water fall, we first visited the 40-meter tunnel, Tangadan Tunnel which serves as the boundary between Ilocos Sur and the province of Abra.

Then, while on the way to the water falls, we passed on the road beside the shore near Grotto. We also bought basi and other local products along the way. While inside the van, I saw how the farmers of this province cultures tobacco for their livelihood.
After two hours travel, we finally reached Pinsal Falls which is located in Sta. Maria, Ilocos Sur. It is believed that this water falls in the largest in the province. The 85-foot water falls has its unique beauty that captured the eyes of some film directors and producers, like the movies of Fernando Poe Jr., they were filmed here. As the water fell into the ground, because of the current, it creates an artistic formation on the rocks. Since it was summer when we went here, the water was less than compared to regular season.
The sun was really but but the cold water was refreshing. Since it's summer time, the water that fell into the ground is just one fourth of it's total water content every normal day. Every summer, the management are building cottages that everyone can rent for low price.
We spent more than two hours in this water falls, but as the time goes by and we were feeling that the sun was getting hotter and hotter. So we left the falls and drove back to Narvacan - it's just thirty minutes drive. When we reached the house, our lunch were all ready. Our trip to Ilocos was really amazing - it's the craziest road travel I ever had so far.
Blue Lagoon, Pagudpud
This was our fourth destination in Ilocos Sur/Norte: 1,300KM, 10 Destinations within 57 Hours.
The Blue Lagoon in Pagudpud is located on the northern tip of Luzon island. It is a fourth class municipality and a coastal town of Ilocos Norte province. It is said to be the resort town of the province. If we have Boracay Island in Aklan, which is famous because of its fine, white and crystal clear waters, and also one the best beaches in the world; Pagudpud is considered the Boracay of the north because of the same feature. When our van entered the coastal area of Pagudpud, we paid 15 pesos per head and then drove going to Blue Lagoon (Maira-ira Beach.)

Blue Lagoon is a like a half-circle body of water on the coastal area of Pagudpud. The shoreline have fine, white sand and surrounded by trees, plants and some private cottages. The clear water in the lagoon have dark blue color, that's the reason why it's called blue lagoon. It is also the home of the longest zip-line in the Philippines.
We rented a cottage for only 300 pesos, then we ordered a squid adobo. The parking areas are for free (in some part.) The area doesn't have cellphone signal. Stores can be found along the uncemented road and the comfort rooms, wash rooms and bath rooms can be accessed anytime.
We enjoyed the amazing beauty of Pagudpud and the foods were really good. And the best part was when I saw the people walking on the shore in their colorful swimsuits and trunks. Hahaha, that's really unforgettable.

Borawan Island | White Sand Near Manila
Borawan Island is a small islet is located in Padre Burgos, Quezon, Philippines. According to the caretaker I spoke to, the name of the islet was given by Father Vargas who discovered the islet. This islet is made up of a large stone in irregular shape, covered with grass and trees.
Fifty years ago, this island was purely large stone situated in the middle of the sea and boat can pass through some of the opening of the stones. But in 1978, the nearby residents were surprised in the appearance of the white sand beside the large stones. As added by the caretaker, the water level became lower compared before the level before. And between 2007-2008 they opened this gorgeous islet to the public.

As
the year goes by, because of its crystal clean water, white sand shore
and amazing ambiance, this islet including Puting Buhangin, Dampalitan
Island and the other islets nearby became famous to the tourists because
of the articles and stories by some travel blogs, websites and social
networking sites.

September 2012, when the owner and management of this islet built cottages along the shore and with the stones at the background. The cottages added a gorgeous ambiance to this islet, resulting to attract more tourists. But, if you are saving more money, you can actually bring your own tent and just pay your entrance and the space of you tent. Entrance: 80 pesos, Cottages from 700-1000 pesos, and wash room usage 10-20 pesos, Tent Space: 200.

If you are looking for an amazing island getaway, this place is perfect for you. Your eyes will see the beauty on the earth and you will then think on how we're fortunate to receive this gift. But, to maintain this beauty, you need to make sure that you follow the regulations that the management created.

BORACAY ISLAND | Solo-backpacking to the World's Finest
Boracay Island is one of the best
beaches in the world, that’s according to the travel agencies, websites, blogs,
magazines and other people’s reviews and I can say “yes it is one of the best!.”
The fine, white sand at the shoreline can be compared to a fine table salt,
actually others said, that it’s like a baby powder. The pristine, crystalline water is really adorable,
as it serves as a mirror of the blue skies with cirrus clouds on it. The reflection is like a painting of Michelangelo,
as the blue water and skies forming a horizon, parallel to the shoreline.

Alibijaban and the Burias Group of Island
PLOTTED!! Tuloy na talaga ito!!! Continue Reading >>>

During my visit in the province, I noticed that the people are accommodating and are living in simple way. Aside from that, Bataan also has a lot to offer in terms of tourist destinations.
